I’m no Hoops fan, but this just brilliant. More good stuff on the site as well, especially this Maradona poster. http://goo.gl/ngRhc
For all the Breaking Bad fans out there: Los Pollos Hermanos. Where something good is always cooking.
I love the design synergy of the Batman teaser posters. Someone noticed and combined them.

Here’s to Fridays! Hope you have a *sparkling* weekend.
A neon poster for the 1989 Tim Burton Batman film.
I loved this film when it was first released but I remember lots of critics complaining that Jack Nicholson’s Joker stole the show and overshadowed the title character. They may have had a point!
I’ve tried to reflect that in this design with the Joker hi-jacking Batman’s symbol.
For many people watching football is mere entertainment; to some it’s more like a ritual; but to others, its highs and lows provide a narrative to life itself.

Heath Ledger as the Joker skate boarding over Christian Bale as Batman while they take a break on the set of The Dark Knight.
“One night, as I’m standing on LaSalle Street in Chicago, trying to line up a shot for “The Dark Knight,” a production assistant skateboards into my line of sight. Silently, I curse the moment that Heath first skated onto our set in full character makeup. I’d fretted about the reaction of Batman fans to a skateboarding Joker, but the actual result was a proliferation of skateboards among the younger crew members. If you’d asked those kids why they had chosen to bring their boards to work, they would have answered honestly that they didn’t know. That’s real charisma—as invisible and natural as gravity. That’s what Heath had.” -Chris Nolan
I’ve posted this image before way back, but wasn’t aware of Nolan’s words.

I had never heard of him before he passed away yesterday; but after looking at his work… I definitely want, one day in the future, to have some of his pieces (or more likely, reproductions of them) in my home. Very pleasing to my eye.
